Horizontal centrifugal casting is to pour the outer metal into a horizontally placed rotating roller mold. When the outer metal cools to a certain temperature, the roller mold is placed in a vertical position, and then the core and roll neck iron are poured.

The double-cast roll is mainly used for the rolling of long products, because the roll material with excellent performance can be selected, the hardness of the working layer is almost no drop, and it has good wear resistance. The core and the roll neck are made of high strength and high toughness.
