  1. Thermal crown.   3. Rolling force. Generally speaking, the temperature of the lower part of the steel plate is 30 degrees higher than that of the upper part.

  4. Rolled into iron sheet. The problem of sheet rolling is related to the thin thickness of the rolled product, low carbon content and low silicon content. The rolled iron sheet mostly occurs under the strip, the lower roll is severely worn, and the surface of the roll is often deteriorated. This indicates that sheet rolling is associated with damage to the roll surface. In the case of using high rolls, the coefficient of friction becomes higher, and the temperature of the surface of the rolled material rises, which Promotes the formation of high-hardness oxides. Therefore, the use of inter-stand cooling and skin cooling can effectively solve the problem of rolling scales.

  5. Thermal cracks. Compared with hot-rolled strip steel rolls of other materials, high-rollers have good heat crack resistance, especially very good resistance to heat crack growth.

  6. Peel off. Because the residual stress of high rollers is higher than that of high chromium cast iron rollers, high rollers are usually very sensitive to mechanical cracks.
